We first reported on Sony Music’s original-content YouTube plans in November 2015, when the label group announced a partnership with online star Kurt Hugo Schneider.

A year and a half on, Sony Music has unveiled its latest slate of originals, including one starring Schneider.

The shows are the work of Sony’s Rumble Yard division. Schneider’s show is called ‘To The Beat’ and will see him remixing songs by and collaborating with the likes of T-Pain and Aloe Blacc.

Schneider, who now has 8.7 million subscribers on YouTube, is also making another show for Rumble Yard called ‘Built By Music’ according to industry site Tubefilter.

It outlined other shows on Sony’s slate too: ‘Turn Table’ will be fronted by TV celeb Al Roker, pairing musicians with chefs.

There will also be documentary series about The Chainsmokers and Grace VanderWaal, as well as a pre-game sports concerts strand called ‘Hype Up’.
