Assembly

Influencer marketing is a growing area of marketing activity for labels, as they try to build buzz around artists by forging partnerships with (well, paying) influential online-video and social personalities.

Now a Canadian startup called Assembly is launching a tool to help manage those campaigns.

Its dashboard promises to house “all of your influencer marketing campaigns under one roof and managed by you”, with the ability to import influencers and track their vital stats on the various social platforms; create campaigns and review / approve content; track the performance of the promoted posts and videos; and then manage the payments for those influencers.

There’s a cost to this: Assembly’s service starts at $199 a month for creating up to two campaigns a month that generate up to 100k clicks. Higher $299-a-month and $499-a-month tiers offer more campaigns and clicks – both unlimited on that top tier.

It’s pricey, but then so can be the influencer-marketing agencies that would normally handle all of this on behalf of a label. For larger entities running a fair few campaigns, something like Assembly could be appealing.
