The latest music brand looking to make use of video on Facebook is iHeartRadio. The US streaming service has launched a TV-style chat-show called ‘iHeartNow with Elvis Duran’, fronted by one of its most popular DJs.

The show will see Duran interviewing musicians and celebrities, kicking off with former Fifth Harmony singer turned solo-star Camila Cabello.

The show lives within Facebook’s new ‘Watch’ section, which is hosting content provided by a range of producers, media brands and individual social stars.

iHeartRadio will be looking to boost the new show’s reach by tapping its existing audience on Facebook: the iHeartRadio page on the social network has 7.3m likes and seven million followers, while Duran’s existing (radio) ‘Morning Show’ has more than 730k likes and just under 700,000 followers.

The debut of iHeartNow with Elvis Duran comes a few weeks after music-videos service Vevo launched its own live chat-show, Vevo Live, which is streamed on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
