Dubset has announced its latest distribution deal for DJ sets and remixes, with streaming service Tidal.

The agreement follows previous deals with Spotify and Apple Music, and builds on Dubset’s licensing agreements with Sony Music and Merlin to monetise the kind of tracks that have traditionally only been available on UGC platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube.

Dubset also raised a $4m funding round in February 2017 to build out its technology and industry partnerships. It’s not the only company focusing on licensing DJ sets and remixes: MetaPop, founded by former Beatport CEO Matthew Adell, was acquired by Native Instruments last March after licensing more than 20,000 bootleg remixes.
