We’re delighted to announce that Trap Nation founder Andre Benz will be one of the keynote speakers at our Sandbox Summit conference in New York this April.
Benz founded the YouTube channel when he was 15, and has grown it to more than 18.3 million subscribers and 6.5bn lifetime video views – one of the most powerful curatorial brands on YouTube for music. We’ll be asking Andre what lessons modern-day music marketers can learn from Trap Nation’s growth, as well as his views on the industry.
We can also confirm some other speakers for the summit: Atlantic Records’ Tom Mullen will talk about marketing back catalogue in the digital age; Sony Music’s Sarah Flanagan will join a panel on music and influencer-marketing; and AEI Music’s Farhana Aboo will be presenting on how to make the most of YouTube.
Polydor Records’ Luke Ferrar will discuss AI and music marketing; and Spotify’s J.J. Italiano will be talking about how to market music on the streaming platforms. See more speakers and get your tickets via the Sandbox Summit NYC website.
