British artist Little Simz is preparing for the release of her third album ‘GREY Area’ through AWAL, and as part of its marketing campaign is using music stickers on Instagram.

The album comes out on 1 March, but every day between now and its release, a new 10-second snippet of one of its tracks will be made available for fans to use as an Instagram sticker. Each sticker will only be available for 24 hours, with the idea being that fans scramble to use it each day, before waiting for the next one.

The clips and stickers will debut each day in Little Simz’s own stories, which will also use the photos that accompany the album, with the obligatory ‘swipe-up call’ so that fans can pre-save or pre-order the album itself. It’s a clever idea making use of Instagram’s story stickers: now it’s up to the Little Simz fanbase to show how far and wide the music clips can travel using it.
