Regional Manager – Leading Global Distributor Platform – London

For a leading global digital music distribution platform we’re currently looking for a

Regional Manager to build the presence and position in the UK and manage the

office in London.

 

Job description

Your key responsibility is growing UK client-base and managing the operations in the

UK. Main components of the day to day business are:

•Managing and overseeing all aspects related to the platforms distribution,

marketing and sales services in the UK

•Responsible for growing UK business, driving key sales trajectories with a

particular focus on premium artist management companies

•Maintaining close relationships with our key UK clients

•Implementing the necessary processes for the platform to sell its products and

services in the UK and to perform required after sales service

•Managing contract negotiations and process with UK clients

•Manage and expand local client base, end responsible delivering regional

budgets for the UK

•Manage all back-office and administrative aspects related to the local entity

•Reporting to The Global

 

Job requirements

•University degree (preferably in Business, Economics or Music/Entertainment)

•Seven or more years of experience in the music industry

•At least three years carrying end-responsibility for a (small) business and or team

•At least three years experience in either of these fields: Music Distribution,

Campaign Management, Release Marketing or A&R with leading labels and

artists

•Experience with working with independent music labels and understanding their

needs

•Experience in working in an international environment and management or

board-facing presence

•Able to pro-actively and upon request report to the management team at HQ

•Excellent communication and analytical skills

•Organizational and motivational skills

•Strong client network and strong at growing and maintaining client relationships
