The latest executive to depart Spotify is its comms director for EMEA, Alison Bonny, after nearly eight years at the streaming service.
Bonny joined the company shortly before it launched in the US in 2011, and has since been a prominent figure on the communications and PR side of the business, as it launched in more countries around the world and grew its user base to more than 200 million monthly active users. The former Virgin Mobile and Yahoo staffer’s next move is unknown.
Her exit follows the departure in May 2018 of VP of marketing and communications Angela Watts, and US communications head Graham James last August.
Spotify has been growing its global comms team, however, in line with its worldwide expansion, under the head of global communications and public relations Dustee Jenkins, who joined in November 2017 from US retailer Target.
