Apple Music is giving its ‘For You’ recommendations screen a spring-clean. News site 9 to 5 Mac reported that the section “is now organised around music themes that are more personalised for each member, and updates to ‘For You’ are now much more frequent”.

The changes are already available for some Apple Music users on the latest beta Apple Music or iTunes software across iOS and Mac devices, but the report suggested they will roll out to more users in the coming weeks.

“Music recommendations including artists, albums, playlists, and even Beats 1 episodes and more are now organised by themes including collections like ‘To Make You Smile’ and ‘Starting Early’ plus artists and genres personalised to your taste. You can influence these recommendations using Apple Music’s Love and Dislike rating features,” it claimed.
