When Music Ally is out driving, what we want from a navigator is calm, timely directions, rather than someone prone to regularly yelling their own name at top-volume. But not everyone is like us, and for those people, there’s now an option to have DJ Khaled providing the voice for their in-car navigation.

It’s the result of a partnership between Deezer and Google’s navigation app Waze, which is also promoting DJ Khaled’s new album ‘Father of Asahd’. He went into a studio to record his navigation vocals, including catchphrases like “Stay focused”, “Don’t play yourself” and “The top’s off the maybach!”, and a plug encouraging drivers to listen to the new album on Deezer. The voice will only be available in Waze until 21 June though.
