Happy Pride Month! If you didn’t realise, that’s June: an annual month-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

Amazon is one of the music-streaming services celebrating too: it’s just launched a new playlist called ‘Proud’. It’ll be available throughout the year, with a focus on LGBTQ+ artists, and weekly updates to its tracklisting. Amazon has also commissioned some original tracks from artists including Years & Years, Soak and Sasami, which will be made available through its service.

In separate news, Amazon has also released a 15-minute documentary celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Beastie Boys’ album ‘Ill Communication’, including a Q&A with the band’s two surviving members from this year’s SXSW conference. The ‘Still Ill’ doc is accompanied by its own playlist, mixing commentary with the original tracks.
