Madonna has joined the Apple Store crew. No, that doesn’t mean she’ll be at the doors wearing a colourful shirt and clapping people who’ve queued up for a new iPhone. Instead, she’s the latest artist to collaborate with Apple on a ‘Today at Apple’ educational session, which will be made available in the company’s stores.
“Like all co-created sessions, a prerecorded video by the artist sets the tone for the lab before Apple’s Creative Pros take over to dive in to a project,” reported 9 to 5 Mac. “Participants will use Madonna’s song ‘Crave’ from the new album as the foundation for their own remixes after learning about what inspired the music.” It notes that Florence Welch and DJ Swizz Beatz have featured in previous music-creation sessions launched as part of the program. The Madonna news comes ahead of the release of her new album, ‘Madame X’, on 14 June.
