The Jonas Brothers’ vinyl club will cost fans $399

If we’d paid $399 for a vinyl subscription club, you wouldn’t catch us chucking the records around like frisbees. But we’re not The Jonas Brothers, who are – puzzlingly – doing exactly that in the main promo pic for their new Jonas Vinyl Club. It’ll kick off in August, with plans to ship 18 vinyl records from the band plus the bros’ solo careers, as well as photo books and a slip-mat.

“Join now. Get it all,” encourages the website, complete with details on how much the club will cost: $399 for a basic membership, or $599 for the deluxe tier which adds more records plus nifty coloured vinyl AND a branded vinyl case.

US company Vinyl Moon is working with the band on the mail-order club, with one of the pitches to fans being that “this is the first time the band has allowed their music to be released on vinyl” bar a few picture-disc singles in their early years.
