One of the trends Music Ally is keeping an eye on in the streaming era is collaborations that don’t involve Anglo-American artists. Latin America (or at least Spanish-language music, if made in the US) could be the hub for this: think K-Pop or African artists collaborating with Latin stars. Or, indeed, Indian artists.

Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa has announced his second collaboration with US rapper Pitbull, and their first that will be a Spanish-language track.

‘Mueve La Cintura’ was announced by Randhawa on Instagram, revealing that Puerto Rican artist Tito El Bambino will also feature on the track. “Let’s take India worldwide with This one too,” wrote Randhawa. His previous collaboration with Pitbull, ‘Slowly Slowly’, came out in April, and (via the T-Series channel) has generated 174.6m views on YouTube so far.
