It isn’t that long since George Ezra and Jessie Ware were the only two artists with podcasts that many people could name. Many more are at it now.

Two of the latest examples are Frank Turner and T.I. British artist Turner has launched his ‘Tales From No Man’s Land’ podcast, produced by UK firm Somethin’ Else. It ties in with his new album, which is based on twelve women from history. The podcast sees Turner telling their stories, with an episode per song. Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Mata Hari and Dora Hand are among the people featured.

American artist T.I. is launching a podcast called ExpediTIously, meanwhile, which promises discussions of all manner of social and relationship issues. He’s certainly confident. “I have a lot to say, and I think the world needs to hear it,” he told Billboard. “I also felt that my opinions and ideas were far too big to just live on someone’s phone or on social media.”

There’s also a third artist-focused podcast launching this week, albeit focused on the artist rather than being made by them. That artist is Oasis: ‘Listen Up: The Oasis Podcast’ has been made as part of the 25th-anniversary celebrations of the release of the band’s debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’. Its four episodes will feature interviews from people who worked with the band, as well as other talking-heads from the 1990s. It’ll go head to head with the fan-made ‘The Oasis Podcast‘, which recently published its 91st episode.
