Music-marketing firm Linkfire continues to deepen its relationships with streaming services in interesting parts of the world. Its latest partner is Anghami in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). It’s the latest deal to open up conversion data from a DSP, enabling artists and managers to see what fans have done on Anghami after they’ve clicked or tapped through from one of Linkfire’s ‘smart links’. It’s a good partnership given Anghami’s popularity in the MENA region: the company now claims to have more than 75 million users there, amid recently-launched competition from Deezer and Spotify. The deal follows Linkfire’s announcement in August of a similar partnership with African streaming service Boomplay.
