Last time we checked in with British startup Monokrome Music in October 2017, it was launching a product called ‘The Hub’ – “an online database where rights holders can manage their metadata, artwork, press info and soon to be contractual info across all of their rights”.
Nearly two years later, the company is launching version 2.0 of what’s now been renamed ‘Rights Hub‘. It’s a development of that original idea. “Rights Hub allows you to store all rights information in one easily accessible location including all your contractual information, audio and video assets with complete metadata including full master rights and publishing information,” explains the company. “It also provides for single place storage of your release, stem or track specific attachments, including press releases, press shots, promotional information, screen shots of marketing received, biographies, EPKs, logos & banners and packshots.” The company’s pricing starts at £15 per month for catalogues smaller than 50 tracks.
