The crossover between music and esports is something Music Ally has been interested in for some time now. British music-industry body the BPI is too: it’s holding an event to explore the topic on 24 October in London.
Hosted with Media Insight Consulting’s Chris Carey, the event will explain how the esports industry makes its money and manages talent; how esports stars build their followings; and the kinds of partnerships that music companies and artists could get involved with.
The event will be free for BPI members, with some tickets available to buy for other people too: full details are here, with speakers to be announced.
