It’s five years since Pandora launched its Artist Marketing Platform (AMP) tools for artists to market to listeners on the streaming service. The company is celebrating the anniversary with some new stats.

“In the last 12 months alone, we’ve seen a 688% increase of monthly active creators on AMP,” announced Pandora in a blog post.

There’s also a new figure for AMP’s Artist Audio Messages (AAM) feature, which enables artists to record voice messages that’ll be played to their listeners in between songs. “As of this month, we’re thrilled to share that there have been over 4.5 Billion Audio Impressions of AAMs recorded by artists talking to their fans, sharing the background behind their favorite songs, and promoting their music,” said Pandora.
