It’s perhaps over-egging things slightly to call ‘Megan Thee Stallion P.I. in Hottieween’ a series, given that the first two episodes weigh in at around the five-minute mark each. It’s fun though: a horror-themed story starring Megan Thee Stallion as a private investigator taking on “vampire fuccbois” and a serial killer.
Cannily (for traffic / buzz, at least) she’s accompanied by a bunch of influencers during the three episodes. The first dropped on Tuesday, and has been watched just over 300k times at the time of writing, while the second episode has nearly 120k views eight hours after launching. The final episode comes out later today.
It’s the latest audience-building move for Megan Thee Stallion on YouTube, with her channel now on more than one million subscribers and 289m lifetime views, buoyed by her ‘Hot Girl Summer’ hit earlier in the year. In its announcement of the series, YouTube also noted that Megan appears on four songs in YouTube’s US Top Songs chart this week.
