Downtown Music’s Songtrust has a new president, but she’s very much not a stranger to the company.
Former Kickstarter exec Molly Neuman joined Songtrust in 2017 as its global head of business development. And now: “Molly will lead all day-to-day operations for Songtrust, including client relations, product, and engineering, as well as society and services relations,” announced Downtown yesterday, noting that since Neuman joined, Songtrust has “posted record-setting metrics for the business, including triple-digit growth with more than 2 million songs under its management from 26,000 publishers and 205,000 songwriters across 64 countries”.
For her part, Neuman promised that she remains “committed to continuing to grow the Songtrust client base, drive our technological edge, and continuously improve our industry-leading processes and global collection capabilities”.
