Anghami offers music-streaming for travellers at Dubai airport

Travellers to Dubai’s international airport (DXB) will now be getting some free music playlists, courtesy of the facility’s partnership with streaming service Anghami.

“Customers of DXB will now have uninterrupted free access to specially curated, travel-themed playlists featuring a variety of different global artists and some exciting new local talent from Anghami’s vast music catalogue, directly through the airport’s super-fast WOW-Fi,” reported Gulf News.

The deal is part of a wider music-focused programme for the airport called musicDXB, created in partnership with audio-branding agency Holla Sonic. “These playlists have the potential for massive exposure to the 89 million travellers a year going through DXB and the 40 million per year active accounts that use Anghami,” said that company’s executive director Oliver Wood.
