Apple’s video-streaming service Apple TV+ is now up and running, with a small-but-growing slate of original shows. The company’s latest signing promises to be *very* interesting for Music Ally’s readership. It’s an untitled documentary from filmmakers Amy Ziering and Kirby Dick, hosted by Oprah Winfrey, which will focus on sexual misconduct in the music industry.
The Hollywood Reporter explained that the documentary “will follow a former music executive who grapples with whether to go public with her story of assault and abuse by a notable figure in the music industry”.
No further details are yet available: Apple and the producers will be thinking carefully about when and how to reveal more, given the inevitable guessing game that will surround the documentary if the notable figure is not named.
