Some people have been working from home regularly for years, and others take to it like ducks to water. But others may struggle, especially if they’re cooped up alone (or with housemates / family) for what’s looking like an indeterminate period of time. In the knowledge that many of our readers will be thinking hard about how to work from home and stay well, we’re looking out for advice and resources that may help.

Start today with this Twitter thread from astronaut Anne McClain, who was aboard the International Space Station between December 2018 and June 2019. “One thing astronauts have to be good at: living in confined spaces for long periods of time. Find yourself in a similar scenario? Here are some pro tips,” she wrote.

The thread outlines the five ‘expeditionary behaviours’, skills that will serve you well, identified by NASA: Communication, Leadership/Followership; Self-Care; Team Care; and Group Living. The Twitter thread has since been turned into an online article by NASA, and it’s well worth a read.
