Now she has launched a separate guide offering musicians and their teams an introduction to setting up a fan club or membership scheme for their fans. It explains the models, answers some common questions about them, and provides ideas and links to get them started. From setting up tiers and deciding what the benefits should be for each one, to setting pricing and making a content plan, we think it’s an accessible and practical guide to an area that suddenly – given the disruption to artists’ businesses from Covid-19 – has even more relevance.
