We’re sorry to report that another physical music industry conference has bitten the dust in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Music Biz 2020 was due to be held in August in Nashville, but has now been cancelled by organiser the Music Business Association. Well, the physical event has.

“We plan to follow up the success of our Music Biz Live series by virtually offering segments of our Conference through the rest of the year,” announced president Portia Sabin yesterday. That means interviews and strands/summits will go virtual, along with webinars focusing on practical topics. Music Biz 2021 is already pencilled in for 10-13 May next year, also.
