Have you heard of Jack Leopards & The Dolphin Club? The band’s profile is verified on Spotify, but they’ve only got one track available: a cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’, which has just been released. Still, they’re doing well for a brand new band: that first track has already been used for the title sequence of the latest episode of popular TV show ‘Killing Eve’. Swift approves: “VERY STOKED about this cover of lwymmd on @KillingEve by Jack leopards & the dolphin club!!” she tweeted yesterday.

As you may have guessed, there appears to be a bigger story behind this, and it didn’t take long for her army of Swifties to investigate. The cover was produced by long-time Swift collaborator Jack Antonoff as well as ‘Nils Sjöberg’ – an alias famously used by Swift for her co-writing credit on Calvin Harris’ ‘This Is What You Came For’.

Fans have also been discussing whether Swift’s brother Austin’s Twitter handle used to be ‘The Dolphin Club’, as well as a press story earlier this year about her desire “to let her little brother sing on the soundtrack of Killing Eve”.

With the backdrop of Swift’s dispute with Scooter Braun, and contractual stipulations about when and how she’s allowed to re-record her back catalogue, fans are seeing the new release as Swift getting one over on her nemesis.
