There’s still some good news amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Start today with a new aspect to Tencent and Universal Music Group’s partnership: teaming up to deliver personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals in the US. Billboard has the details on that.

Meanwhile in Sweden, Spotify founders Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon have made a donation (“multi-million” according to newspaper Dagens Nyheter) to provide Covid-19 antibody tests to healthcare workers in Stockholm and Gothenberg. Ek tweeted the news yesterday with a link to the organisation Werlabs.

Meanwhile, as a useful roundup of the initiatives across the music industry, check the World Economic Forum’s ‘This is how Covid-19 is affecting the music industry‘ – a mixture of relief efforts and predictions for the future.
