Vietnamese company Amanotes has launched a series of music-driven mobile games, including Magic Tiles 3, Tiles Hop and Dancing Road.
Now it’s getting sprinkling some K-Pop stardom over 15 of its games, through a deal with Korean label YG Entertainment. Tracks by Blackpink, Big Bang and Ikon are among the additions to the games, for fans to tap along to.
It’s a decent partnership for YG, since Amanotes has a large community of gamers: more than 1bn downloads so far, and a monthly active user base of nearly 100 million people.
Amanotes’ global head of marketing Jheric Delos Angeles described the YG partnership as a step towards developing “an interactive music ecosystem where artists and listeners can connect”.
The K-Pop tracks will be available in Amanotes’ games globally.
