The UK’s Music Managers Forum (MMF) has just published an updated print edition of its ‘Dissecting the Digital Dollar’ book, which aims to explain the complexities of the music streaming business for artists and managers.
Written by Chris Cooke of CMU Insights, the update adds in recent market trends and copyright reforms, while also summarising the MMF’s roundtable discussions and standalone guides to label deals, transparency, fan data, and song royalty chains.
“The devastating impact of Covid-19 has understandably re-focused attention on the streaming business, and means the MMF’s Dissecting The Digital project is more pertinent than ever,” said MMF CEO Annabella Coldrick.
