Who’s going to be the electronic programme guide (EPG) for livestreamed music concerts? Bandsintown, Songkick and Dice have all made a decent fist of aggregating links to music streams during the Covid-19 crisis. Now former Beatport CEO Matthew Adell is getting in on the action.

He’s the CEO of OnNow·tv, which is coming out of beta this week. It’s not just about music: it’s a guide to livestreams in various categories including food and drink, science and tech, sports, education and animals.

(This story took twice as long to write this morning because we got distracted by live footage from a Long-Eared Owl Nest in Montana, thanks to the site.)

Anyway, OnNow·tv is tapping into the APIs of the big livestream platforms with individual creator links, to offer a full guide to what’s streaming.

“You may love DJ D-Nice, and you may want to find out when he is appearing on Insomniac’s Twitch channel. A holistic guide can help you find D-Nice all the places he’s performing. We believe this high-level defragmentation of the market will make it easy to add livestreaming to your media diet,” said Adell.
