Dolly Parton Amazon livestream

If you’re the kind of person who shouts at people who put their Christmas decorations too early, look away now. Dolly Parton is doing a Christmas-themed livestream for Amazon Music… on 13 November.

‘Dolly Parton’s Comin’ Home for Christmas’ will be streamed live on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel and within its app, with a performance and Q&A with the star.

This is all to promote ‘A Holly Dolly Christmas’, Parton’s festive album, which came out in (look away again!) early October – complete with two bonus tracks that are streaming exclusives for Amazon. There’s even a tie-in merchandise store on its shopping service.

All this is part of Amazon Music’s quiet move to make livestreaming a bigger part of its service. It has integrated sister platform Twitch into its app, and recently launched a weekly ‘Breakthrough Live‘ show, which airs every Tuesday on both.

Music Ally’s next Learn Live webinar will help you understand what’s required for artists to thrive in new international markets!
