Music industry conference Midem has a new online offshoot: Midem Music Networking Week. It’s taking place on Midem’s website next week (30 November to 4 December) with a focus on speed meetings, Q&As and other networking-focused sessions, rather than the traditional panels and keynotes.
“The need for our industry to stay globally connected has never been more crucial than it is today,” said Midem director Alexandre Deniot.
Representatives from MRC Data, JioSaavn, Spotify, Songtrust, Boomplay, SoundExchange, Universal Music Publishing, Patreon, Dice, Raised in Space, Huawei Music and Sacem are among the execs taking part.
