We’re still gauging what the testing or vaccine-certification processes will be for concerts in various parts of the world next year, as the live music industry tries to get back on its feet in countries where lockdowns have halted it. Rapid Covid-19 testing at venues, before fans are allowed in, is one solution that’s been talked about.

British firm Swallow Events has announced its solution that it hopes to sell to event organisers at home and abroad. It involves 15-minute pop-up testing facilities, with “government-approved healthcare professionals” conducting the tests. The company hopes to help concerts and festivals but also conferences and trade shows to get up and running again. We sense it will be far from the only company offering such a service in the months ahead.
