It’s here: Sandbox’s shortlist of the best, most original, and most impactful music marketing campaigns of 2020 – a celebration of this year’s most remarkably innovative and creative work. There were a record-breaking number of entries this year, so in keeping with another notable seasonal deliverer of gifts, we made a list and checked it twice, to painstakingly whittle them down to 50 standout campaigns.

2020 was an exceptional and difficult year. The plans of the vast majority of these campaigns were badly affected: ideas were scrapped and new strategies had to be developed on the fly. It is a testament to the indomitable spirit of the marketing community that this year’s campaigns were of notably high-quality.

As always, campaigns are listed in alphabetical order, but there are spot prizes throughout for the campaigns that we felt achieved something special in an outstanding year. Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry, and congratulations to all the awards winners.
