Marketing tool found·ee has a new feature this week: email capture overlays that it claims can help artists increase the growth of their mailing lists by 40% on average. It’s already been used by Concord for some of the websites it runs for artists including St Vincent and Grace Potter.

“We’ve been able to collect over 100,000 new email subscribers across all our labels and artists’ lists, and increased our revenue in the process, which has driven 300% growth in ecommerce revenue in some cases,” said its SVP of digital marketing Josh Berman in the announcement of the new feature.

Another reminder that however much whizzy tech we write about at Music Ally, the humble mailing list remains one of the most important blocks in every artist’s marketing strategy.
