We wrote last week about how the developers of hot new game Cyberpunk 2077 had to warn Twitch users to turn the music off to avoid copyright takedowns.

A more positive story is the involvement in the game of artist Grimes, who voices one of its characters, Lizzy Wizzy. That character has now released an album called *deep breath* ‘This story is dedicated to all those cyberpunks who fight against injustice and corruption every day of their lives!‘, although its distribution is limited at this point.

“For now only on Apple Music cuz they generously cleared the samples 4 me,” Grimes explained in an Instagram post announcing it to fans. Apple Music clearing samples for artists? That’s interesting. “If you’ve ever wondered what a Kendrick Lamar verse sounds like on top of the Ramones’ ‘Blitzkrieg Bop,’ here’s where those two worlds collide,” is how the service is describing the album (or DJ mix, as it terms it) to listeners.
