If ever there were a story whose keywords were guaranteed to get Music Ally’s bulletin blocked by the music industry’s spam filters en masse, it’s this one. Well, apart from the stories about That Site launching a record label or That Other Site being used by Cardi B for a fan subscription. But anyway: Deezer has launched a new section of its service called ‘Between the Sheets‘ offering a mixture of ‘bedroom playlists and erotic podcasts’. There’s also a collection of albums with explicit cover art within a ‘hidden’ part of the section called ‘Behind the Curtain’.
The launch comes ahead of Valentine’s Day, and while Deezer (like every streaming service) is curating the traditional mix of romance-themed playlists and content, the new erotica section takes things up a notch. Let’s just hope it’s got controls to stop the kids listening…
