Have you heard the new music from country star Keith Urban? It puts you to sleep! For once, not a criticism. Urban is the latest artist to work with mindfulness startup Calm on exclusive material. In his case, that’s an hour-long track called ‘I Am Home‘, which Calm is describing as an “ethereal odyssey designed to rock listeners to a restful sleep”.
It’s the third ‘Calm Original’ for the company, and will only be available for its paying subscribers. Moses Sumney and Lindsey Stirling are two of the previous artists who’ve worked with Calm on original music.
We’re enjoying Urban’s statement on the track. “Without having to focus on guitar riffs, a hit chorus, or a three-minute time frame, I approached the song from a vibratory place,” he said.
