There’s a flurry of Spotify stories today from across its business. Starting with a revamp for its podcast charts. Listeners can now see rankings of individual episodes as well as overall shows, and the US charts are now available as a website with more countries to follow.

Second, Spotify is expanding its livestream listings feature, and will now feature upcoming online concerts from StageIt, Mandolin, NoCap and Nugs·net alongside its existing partnerships with Songkick and Ticketmaster. Spotify is also using mailouts and push notifications to alert users to events by artists they like.

Finally, the streaming service is launching its ‘Daily Drive’ playlist in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, with the same mix of music and podcast clips as in other markets, designed for the morning and evening commute.

Music Ally’s next Learn Live webinar will help you understand what’s required for artists to thrive in new international markets!
