The BTS Army has done it again: breaking records on various digital platforms for their idols’ new single ‘Butter’.
One of those records already belonged to the K-Pop stars, with BTS seemingly breaking their own YouTube first-24-hour-views record.
We say ‘seemingly’ because this is based on the public view-count for ‘Butter‘, which stood at 113m after a full day on YouTube – compared to 101.1m for their 2020 track ‘Dynamite’. However, we’ll await YouTube’s official confirmation and figure, as it can sometimes differ from the stats publicly available on its service.
Three days after its release, the video stands at 182.1m views at the time of writing. ‘Butter’ fever is also *cough* spreading on Spotify, where according to Columbia Records it broke that platform’s single-day streams record with 20.9m.
