With the main Midem conference shifted to later this year, organiser Reed Midem is preparing for its Midem Africa online event that starts on 28 June.
Yesterday, it confirmed a number of the speakers and sessions, including a keynote from Afrobeats star Mr Eazi; a session covering ‘the music industry in Africa today and tomorrow’ from Warner Music Group; an analytical view from MRC Data; and slots for artists including A’salfo, Fally Ipupa, Youssou N’Dour, Nomcebo Zikode, Vanessa Mdee, Stonebwoy and Afrikan Boy.
