Triller isn’t just a short-videos startup any more: it’s been getting into livestreams of music performances and boxing matches. Now it’s launching a subscription for them called TrillerPass. It will cost $29.99 a month or $299.95 a year, although unusually for a digital subscription, people signing up for the monthly option will have to agree a 12-month commitment.

Triller says it will be offering music, sports and fashion livestreams to its customers, and that it will only sell a “limited number” of TrillerPass subscriptions before closing the offer.

Triller’s parent company recently acquired music-livestreams brand Verzuz, and those events will be part of the subscription package too, starting with Eve vs Trina on 16 June. The plan is to tie the different kinds of events together: for example a big boxing match might be preceded by a Verzuz battle and a ‘VIP party’.
