British industry body the BPI has announced its latest ‘Equality Sessions’ event, which will be held on 30 June at the end of Pride Month. It will feature speakers from the music industry and the wider LGBTQIA+ space, with the aim of “focusing on how we can work towards further progress through Trans and Nonbinary inclusivity, and what it is like to be out and proud in the music industry”.
Sony Music’s Porsche Smith and Mars West; TikTok UK’s Arina Connolly; the MMF’s Paul Bonham; The Orchard’s Kieran George and the BPI’s MJ Olaore and Gennaro Castaldo are among the music industry speakers. You can find more details and get tickets here.
