Lo-fi artists Snøw, Rxseboy and Jack Cullen recently released their track ‘Spilled My Coffee’, which has been easing its way past half a million streams. Now there’s a promotional game for it, delivered as an Instagram story.

It’s the work of agency F That, which has form in this area: it worked on similar games for James Arthur, Clean Bandit, Alfie Templeman and Denzel Curry.

The games use the stories interface of tapping for the next section – in the case of ‘Spilled My Coffee’ to tap a red button to collect items and avoid obstacles. The game’s visuals are also based on the lyric video for the track, which itself was inspired by retro games from the 8-bit era.

The game was commissioned by label Good Soldier, which put out the track.
