Games platform Roblox is preparing for its next big music event: a concert from British artist KSI. He’ll be performing songs from his new album at 4pm PDT this Friday (13 August), with the performance then repeated hourly over the weekend.
There will also be a ‘VIP after party’ for fans, including a Q&A with KSI, on Saturday. This, too, will be repeated over the weekend for fans who couldn’t attend the initial airing.
The concert is a partnership between Roblox, BMG, Proper Loud and MBA Live, and will take place in a virtual environment modelled on a boxing ring. There will be racing mini-games and virtual merchandise for fans to buy.
KSI’s team will be hoping to recreate the success of Lil Nas X’s Roblox concert last year, which is nearing an eight-figure dollar amount in virtual merch sales.
