jaxsta

We’ve been tracking Jaxsta’s progress for a while now: the Australian startup has been building a database of official music credits, and signing an array of partnerships within the industry. Now it has shaken up its membership structure for clients, with a choice of a freemium version called Jaxsta Core and a full paid version called Jaxsta Plus.

The idea: companies can get the basic features for free on the former plan, while being encouraged to upgrade to the latter to get features including credit and chart alerts, an events and markets directory, and more customisation features for their public profiles.

Jaxsta will be charging $49 a year or $9.99 a month for the paid tier, which had been free since April 2020 as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The team has been working on a new range of incredible features which will be coming to our Jaxsta Plus service in the months to come – we have an exciting roadmap for Jaxsta Plus and business users which will keep our community growing,” said CEO Jacqui Louez Schoorl.
