There is more consolidation afoot in the world of smart-link marketing tools.
Linktree, one of those companies, has bought music links startup Songlink/Odesli, and is rolling it in to its recently-launched ‘Music Link’ feature. The Australian company was founded in 2016, and already has clients including Selena Gomez, Alicia Keys and HBO. Meanwhile, Wiz Khalifa, Luck Combs and Benee are among the artists already trying out its new music links. It’s just the latest sign of the competition in the smart-links market.
Linkfire recently went public in Sweden, on the back of a 43% growth in its revenues last year; Ticketing firm Eventbrite bought marketing firm ToneDen last November, shortly after it launched its ‘StreamLinks’ feature; and Amplify·link revamped its platform earlier this summer.
