Linkfire, Feature·fm, ToneDen (now owned by Eventbrite), Amplify·link… There is no shortage of tools available for artists and labels to create ‘smart links’ for promoting their music and getting useful data on fans.

Now distributor Believe has developed its own tool in-house, using technology from playlisting startup Soundsgood, which it acquired in 2020.

The ‘Backstage Links’ tool was announced this morning, and will be free to Believe’s clients as part of its wider distribution service.

At launch, the feature supports more than 250 digital music services, with Believe saying it will tie in to other streaming features, from pre-saving new music to following playlists and artist profiles.
