UK startup Voly to launch financial service focused on music

It’s not all metaverse-expanding NFT synthetic-reality wizardry in the world of music/tech. Thankfully there’s a broad church of startups trying to solve problems and open new opportunities for the music industry.

Voly falls into the former category, as a startup tackling the challenges around financial management and payments. It’s aimed at artists, managers, tour and production managers and tour accountants, with the aim of bringing all their income and expenditure into one online hub to “take the hard work out of all forms of artist accounting”.

Voly will charge a monthly subscription for its service, and is currently in trials with several UK music industry companies ahead of its launch later this year. And if you’re wondering what Voly’s credentials are for money management, well, its existing business is providing these tools for the world of yachts and private jets!
